The first building, a new state-of-the-art Discovery Centre, opened its doors on April 18. The building will serve as a community hub for artists, events, and exhibitors, including the builders behind the first phase of Lakeview Village.

Aquanova is Greenpark’s first condominium at Lakeview Village, and one of several exhibits on the first floor of the Discovery Centre which is scheduled to be released later this year.

Prospective homebuyers can come see a preview of a diverse range of new home offerings, complete with floral installations and anchored by a large, scaled model of Lakeview Village.

The centre has been built as an immersive and interactive gathering place for visitors to discover all aspects behind the Lakeview Village project, from design, public art and construction, to technology and sustainability.

Some of the centre’s features include: a green roof, a thriving ecosystem of over 1,500 native plants; a living wall, a wrap-around interior plant installation to enhance air quality and showcase the community’s biophilic design principles; the 4 Sisters, a window art piece and homage to the site’s history; and sage glass, an advanced window technology to optimize daylight and manage temperature and energy consumption.

The centre also serves as a gateway to the larger Lakeview Village site - a network of walkable trails and cycling routes, a new recreational field, a seasonal art trail featuring commissioned works by local artists and stunning waterfront views.
